Elected to head the executive body in May 2022, succeeding Aadil Baksh — the first woman to lead the ECCI, marking a significant milestone for the organisation.

Aadil Baksh

Served as President leading up to 2022. During his leadership, the Chamber continued to expand its influence as a voice for the Region 2 business community amidst Guyana's broader economic shifts.

Roopan Ramotar"Rooster"

A prominent businessman elected President in late 2019. His tenure focused on agricultural development and pushing for better transportation links between Georgetown and the Essequibo Coast to boost tourism.

From 2016

Dileep Singh

Instrumental in the resuscitation of the Chamber in 2016 after it had been dormant for several years. Served as President during a critical period of growth for the region's private sector, advocating heavily for infrastructure like the Mainstay airstrip and the coconut industry.
